Anne Wieben is a Vienna-based American soprano known for her charismatic stage presence and vivid artistry within the heart of Europe, the United States, and internationally. Her career has led her to the Wiener Staatsoper, the Salzburg\n Festival, and many more, with a dynamic repertoire that spans from canonical works to contemporary opera and immersive performance art. Anne\u2019s portrayals of Mozart\u2019s heroines and Viennese operetta have been the subject of critical\n acclaim, with the Kronen Zeitung<\/em> personifying her as a \u201ctrue diva.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recent highlights include Wotan in G\u00f6tterd\u00e4mmerung<\/em> at Nesterval with the Wiener Staatsoper, Anastasia Knapp in F\u00fcrstin Ninetta<\/em> at the Johann Strauss Festival, Sylva Varescu in Die Cs\u00e1rd\u00e1sf\u00fcrstin<\/em> with the\n Vienna Volksoper Orchestra at the Classionata Festival in Switzerland, and Annina in La Traviata<\/em> with Prague Concert Opera.
